I made a trail camera Moultrie terrible battery life. "The rechargeable 6Volt work?
I have a Moultrie trail camera has horrible battery life, when I say terrible, I mean 5 days at most. Are 6-volt rechargeable batteries with the right solar panel? Is worth it worth the money? The camera model is the hair I Outfitter Cam 4.1 Digital Camera from Moultrie Scouting. Thanks Joe
I have exactly 6 of these cameras. I use rechargeable batteries in all of them (which can save lots of money) in the long run, but if I need to hook a solar panel does not appear help (if that happens I would say is faster, and yes, I have the correct polarity) of the batteries at home, and change, if I can. There are some things you can be the problem. He is old, batteries, after a while the batteries can hold a charge easily, and needs to be replaced. Two, if the video camera sucks a lot of use of electricity from the battery, so the conversion attempt, and then there are photos. Three, if you want a large amount of shots the night of the lightning discharge of the battery used to try to time between photos. reducing Last but not least, I believe some cameras are not as good as others, I have a few lasting a month and lasts for 500 photos and have other things to be in a few days with less than 50 images. I'm not sure that moisture does not affect life or in the vicinity, but my camera still in the marsh die first. Also you get less battery life during winter in cold weather. Be it was not actually based the answer to your question, but at least you have some ideas about the experience.
